Re: Good flight school rates. Perhaps you all could help me out too...right now I'm paying 150/hr wet for a 172 G1000 plus 50/hr for the instructor at what many consider to be the best FBO at HPN. The instructors all seem to be career CFIs, they have a large fleet, line maintenance on site, and HPN gives me the opportunity to train in a towered and approach-controlled environment. I have looked at some other places in the area (none of which are very close) and the rates seem to be the same if not a little bit less. Does the environment and quality of instruction justify the higher cost? |
