With the age 65 thing hiring is down to 16 a month, from 16-24 per week. You will need more than the minimums even if your dad is a CA. 1000 tpic is still not necessary though. The 1000 hours of FO time will no longer get you in.

Even if you are a CPs kid you can be sent to Guam for being a tool (writing up CAs for stupid crap)

Upgrade classes have been cancelled mostly for the 756 and 777, a new system bid will be posted later this month, most vacancies will be in the 737 for a slight increase of airframes. The first 737-900ER will be delivered later this month.

All newhires will be going to EWR. There might be 2 sots in a class for the 756 all the rest will be in the 737. The days of 777 newhires is over.

Commuting blows monkey turds. We had a rent a car party from PWM to BGR last night with a bunch of ex Bar Harbor guys trying to get home. I am moving to wherever i get based. It took one flight to get from TPA to EWR and more than a day to get from EWR to BGR.

Oh and Convairs kick ass.
Is this why XJet stopped hiring? I've heard Colgan stopped too, samething?
