Longest ASEL x-c was a round trip from GLH to PVW (Greenville, MS to Plainview, TX) in a Piper Arrow. Flew CP out to look at an airplane the company was looking to acquire. All VFR (working on instrument at time and CP was also my flight instructor) with the exception of PRX - GLH on the way home. GPS for navigation. Stopped both ways in GYI for fuel, and again in PRX (to get IFR charts on the way home) for fuel. Total flight time was 9.7 hours, just under 1100 nm. Multi piston x-c, however, is a different story...
