Sounds doable. One thing to consider though. Are you instrument rated? If not then make sure you and your wife are prepared to possibly not make the wedding or be back home in time in case you're faced with wx issues. Not trying to be a downer but we've all read about and discussed many accidents that happened due to "get there-itis." But if you can factor in the time for delays I say go for it.
