1980-Ferried an AirTractor from Olney Texas(just nw of DFW) out to Walla Walla Washington.Dont remember how long it took,Put about 200 gallons of gas in the hopper Plus the 70 in the wings=about nine hrs. range.No GPS,Just a Atlas.Actually worked really well,This was before all of the airspace stuff.Just stayed on the other side of town from the big airports and all was well.Second was an AG CAT from central Arkansas down to Homestead FloridaJust south of Miami.Same deal except this time no fuel in the hopper. Those were fun trips.
