Yeah I should have prefaced my post by saying, not sure if this is right but...
I figured if you ask for clarification it reduces yourself to risk. I think the DE was making sure if I wasn't sure on something I would ask rather than do something I assume is right.
By the way this ATC forum rocks, I've learned
