It'll fit. Trust me. It slides in the CRJ like a glove. If you have to commute or DH on an RJ, you'll have to gate check it. To me, that's not that big of a deal. I have yet to have any problems with it DH on mainline, and it fits in the overhead bin of the 757, Airbus, and DC-9 just fine.
