You could spend the next 100 hours doing interesting cross countries (with friends/family), do some aerobatic flights, get your tailwheel and high performance signoffs, get your seaplane addon, learn to fly glass cockpits.

None of those should be much more expensive than flying a 172 in the pattern for 100 hours.
