Go to this picture and tell me what is the instrument at the top-right it's grey and has 7 numbers and a few buttons around it. What is that instrument and what is each number / button for?

Thanks,
TB
I do believe that is the digital flight data recorder. You set the flight number, leg, and date prior to push back and then the weight and balance numbers during taxi and it records events and parameters throughout the flight. If an abnormal situation occurs, the flight crew can hit the event record button to mark the spot on the tape.
