I bought this after reading several recommendations:

Although I have never taken it on a plane and can't testify to it's durability (still in training

), it does fit three 2" binders, a 1" binder, a 1" FOM, a 2" CFM, and my enroute charts all on the bottom of the case, with enough room on top to easily fit a pair of headsets (can even fit the entire Bose headset case on top if you take out the removable hard sides from the Bose case...it's just a tiny tiny bit to big to lay in there otherwise).
