Out of all the regionals in the US, Mesa is the last one you want to work for. Trust me. I hated my time there and now enjoy working for ExpressJet. My life is now literally 3x better. Don't waste your time there. Massive attrition for a reason. Huge lawsuits in Hawaii. Only 8 days off a month. MELs all the time. Poor morale.

Not a place to go fly a jet. Everyone else is hiring. Do something good for this industry and work for a quality company that doesn't underbid to get flying by paying their pilots less and working them more.

Sure it sounds like fun to go fly the CRJ or the ERJ or whatever but after about 4 months you'll realize you should have gone to work for a better company. I promise.
everyone keeps telling me this...but...@ 310TT/145ME, we don't have a ton of choices. I've applied to every airline under the sun, no call backs. Maybe Ill go to Mesa, get the training and pray to the 'sweet lordy jesus that they go under before my enthusiasm is beaten from me by Mesa. Any idea's? One more thing, how long will a airline take getting back to you generally? I stay hopefull for about a month, then I start daydreaming about a nice comfy career in basket-weaving or some other thrilling endeavor. I know there are pilots being picked up with comprable times, what do I need to do here to get noticed...
