Well it depends on where you want to go and how the weather is when you get there. You could try for an AWD like an Outback, it should be less and it would get you any where. Definitly get a front whell if any thing though, NOT a rear wheel. To get to our cabin you would need a 4WD for the last 5-7 minutes of it, but it's not a big deal to leave your car in the parking area and transfer to our car, and we'd take you up the rest of the way. If you are looking at going some where that would require driving through little or bi cotton wood canyons, well, drive really freaking slow or get the 4wd cause that is one accident packes area and a lot of people get hurt there. It's not the snow really that is the problem, it's the ice at night.
