Say you wanted to live in Europe, most countries you get a 60 or 90 day stamp on your passport. As a pilot maybe that would be fine because you would be leaving and coming back before that time. What about if you had a wife/girlfriend wouldn't she have to get up and take a trip out of the country and then return within that time frame.

is that even accepted? (if you got your passport stamped for 60 day visit, can you just leave and come back and get another stamp)

Maybe you can get a visa but if your working for an American airline why would a European country give you a permanent visa.
