I agree with newty.
I can pray just as I get out of bed, on the way to airport, in the crew lounge or even quietly as I do my preflight. However, if I were the Captain and my devout Christian FO says he or she likes to pray before every flight, initially for the first time, I would pray with him or her. Afterwards, I would encourage him or her that we could pray together at the hotel before we even get our workday started.
And for the record........I am born again and lovin' it.
