If the FO felt like he needed to pray before the flight, by all means, have at it. If he felt that the whole crew needed to be included, I'd have to say that he needs to keep that to himself. Peoples' religions are a personal matter. I make it point when I fly to not talk about 2 things...God or the government. Makes things slightly more harmonious.
