Re: Couple of ?'s for ya'll Thanks SMILEY....you're right though, I have been looking at several different companies interview results. The JEPP chart question wasn't specific to Airnet, but in general since I've seen it a lot and folks tend to recommend the introduction section of JEPP.
Below in a excerpt from an interviewee and the reason I got to thinking about it:
"The question is: There are 4 ways to know that your GEAR is DOWN and LOCKED!!! The key word here is LOCKED... What if the 3 green don't come on? is the gear locked? Also, in most retractable gear aircraft you also will have an audible warning if you pull back the throttles too far and the plane thinks you are about ready to land... BUT, these are only two ways?"
Perhaps the 3 green lights will be a correct answer, the transit being out is a good one that MURPH mentioned, and the audible warning with the throttle. In my limited knowledg of complex acft, I'm trying to think of another way. The mirrors don't necessarily prove hte gear is locked. I've been surfin' quite a few sites and had run across that question about the gear and thought I'd throw it out there--also knew we have/had several folks from Airnet on this site. Thanks for the info provided thus far.
