Thank you to everyone that sent me a PM offering to help me out in my quest. I really appreciate the help and the posts from the "locals".

I am torn right now about getting my PPL at the big local FBO, ExecAir.

OR

Joining the Syracuse Flying Club and getting it that way. It seems like a bit less expensive to do it that way.

OR

There is a new place at SYR, Syracuse Flight School, but it looks a bit rough on the exterior and the only thing I can find on the web is their aircraft registered on the FAA site.
