A. I think the general consensus is: Non-revving, no. Jumpseating (whether it be the jumpseat or a seat in the back) stop in and say hello.
B. If they're alcoholic drinks and you're in uniform I can imagine why you may be getting some strange looks. Other than that, don't they (mostly) serve drinks anyway?
