I travel in uniform just to make it easier. You get head of the line privileges. You don't have to worry about having too many "fluids". You look more professional when you're in the cockpit jumpseat.
Dress the part, act the part. Unless you want to drink, there is no valid reason to NOT wear your uniform. And if you're jumpseating, you really shouldn't be drinking anyway.
