Out of curiosity what does traveling in uniform have to do with it other then getting through the TSA line? If I'm not traveling directly to a flight, I never travel in uniform, whether I am planning on jumpseating or now. I do wear a button down or polo shirt and slacks though. Would you deny somebody not in uniform?
