Next thing, NO Kansas is not the Garden spot of the country, we have wind, weather, tornadoes, cows, corn and not much more. That being said my experience has shown that the elements I found to be NORMAL here, were a handful for others that trained in more favorable climates. They do no hesitate to take advantage and get the students into actual IMC either.

I'd just like to add that Chanute is only like...100mi or so from KC. KC is the best-kept secret in the midwest, as far as I'm concerned. Great little city, plenty to do, great people.
