I found out about it a couple of weeks ago. I think the offer was pretty recent at that time. They snagged about 4 of our people at the same time. One guy never even got his CFI.
She was pretty embarrassed when I found out, because she knew that I knew how anti-airline she used to be (or still is.) I'm not sure why she drank the Kool-aid. I think she had to face the idea she needed to earn a living and flight instructing wasn't a way to do it. Or she finally gave up on finding work flying helicopters. I sense she isn't looking forward to it.
