Re: Private Military Contract flying? I've got a few connections with a company that does "crop-dusting" for the military. Mostly in places like Columbia and Afghanistan. To get on doing that you have to have dusting experience and a few hundred hours taildragger time. Pay is... well, the first $75,000 is tax free! He works 17 on 11 off.
There is a company in FL called Air Scan, Inc that does surveillance (sp?) in foreign lands for the military. They fly some sort of twin and I think their requirements are 2000 TT, 1000 ME or something. I saw it posted on a website a couple of months ago. They paid daily between $300 and $600. It was a 30 on 30 off rotation. |
