Chewy and I arrived at the Million Air FBO at KNEW around 1300L. SKidz met us at the FBO and then took us to Bourbon St. We just had fun discussing aviation, looking at hotties, talking about networking thru JC, looking at hotties, future jobs, looking at hotties...just pretty much looking at hotties!! Eye candy is running rampant in New Orleans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Orleans still shows signs of the devastation left by Katrina. It is so sad to see all the many homes left in disrepair and abandoned. Many residents are still in the tow behind trailers or living on the streets. You can still see where the Army spray painted numbers on the houses to refer to how many dead were found in them. The old city is lively though. People frequent the city just as often as ever. Of course, the French Quarter, where we were most of the day, wasn't hit as bad as say the 9th quarter which is still somewhat abandoned.
Skidz was a wealth of information on the city and knew all the great locations for legal entertainment. He even knew the places for illegal entertainment, but despite the many bribes...he still wouldn't take us there. Just being able to sit down and talk with another guy who has the same aspirations and convictions about aviation as we do was awesome. We discussed the many avenues provided by this website and how it has affected the outlook of our thinking. Huge impact.
