Default Solo

Did my first solo today

Entered the traffic pattern in the mighty C-152 with my instructor and did three takeoffs and landings (dont confuse that with touch and goes). I was doing everything great except my turn base to final was a bit tight. On my third pattern I corrected this, landed, got my endorsement and off I went.

On the first takeoff roll, I was expecting the plane to act differently but wasn't sure how it would exactly react. But the rotation point was alot faster than expected. Kept a good tight pattern and had the smoothest landing I have ever done. The second takeoff was great, knew when to expect rotation and realized how much differently the plane climbs without another body in there. I was very nose high and couldnt believe how it was climbing.

The third pattern was probably my greatest one. I was feeling great, especially how I lined up for final. But then this gust of wind came when I was about to enter my flare. I landed on one wheel and all was good.

I felt sooo great afterwards. It has only been 3 hours since, and I am still on an emotional high. A day I will never forget. 0.4 PIC logged.
