Yeah I would go to my alternate also, but if I had to.....

I would fly to JFK and then fly outbound on the 281 radial to GRENE, then intercept the localizer all the while squaking 7600.

Flying backwards to LGA just doesnt sit well with me, either way that would constitute an emergency in my book.
