I don't recall... I wish he had given me his business card because I would have sent him a thank you letter with the rest, but he was one of their chief pilots if I recall. Braz did my HR interview.

In reply to the FO question... essentially yeah, it's a time building position. It's a way for Cape Air to sink their claws into you and meld you into the company and they get a pilot for longer. Also, their op specs say that if the Capt has less than 100 hours PIC in type then (s)he has to fly with an FO. Also if the autopilot goes TU, then a first officer has to be present.

In addition, the FOs do reposition the aircraft down to the caribbean so that they don't have use a CA to do it and it also gets the FO flight time in the aircraft... so it's a win/win. I can't wait to do that... but I hope they send me with someone because it's an awfully long trip to do on your own! Oh... maybe I'll take Wilson!!!
