It's not so much that airlines are exempt from the ADA, but that in most cases, the ADA just doesn't apply!
Here is an example!
BTW, I'm a disabled veteran. Hasn't given me any problems. Now, I don't walk around with a hat that says "Disabled Veteran" at the airport . . . lol.
