Default We’re pregnant! Or not?

OK, we have a lot of moms and dads on the board, I was just wondering something.

When you and your other half were expecting, did you say that “I’m Pregnant (for you gals)” or “My wife (Girlfriend) is Pregnant” for us guys, or did you both use the newer, P.C., “We’re Pregnant”?

My wife had a very definitive opinion on the matter. She never referred to the two of us as being pregnant. She believed that the whole idea was ridiculous. She basically pointed out that pregnancy was a physical state, and that I was incapable of being pregnant, which is true. I agreed, I never considered myself, or us as a couple, pregnant. I would point out that I was going to have a baby soon, but not that I was pregnant.

How did you guys handle the situation?
