Dude...no offense--because everyone's different and I wouldn't want to make assumptions about your ability to handle difficult work conditions--but there is a HUGE difference between "living in China for a few years" and "flying an RJ for a Mesa subsidiary for a few years."
You'll know exactly what I'm saying once you're in IR training--flying NDB approaches all day and night and copying clearances from non-native English speakers all day is a lot different than flying in US airspace (go to atclive.net and listen to some tower broadcasts from other countries....just cuz ICAO says you have to know English doesn't mean it's good English!!!).
Also, I'm not sure on labor laws, but I would imagine your rights as a contract expat in China are pretty limited...i.e. they can have their way with you. I've read about expat pilots being forced to pay back the airline for their training and "damages" to the company if they end their contract for any reason...even if they're getting screwed on their contract.
Keep in mind that in most SE Asian countries, a contract is more of a "working draft" and everything is subject to interpretation and modification.
