Re: What are the interviewers looking for? The interviewers want to learn what kind of person you are. They want to know if you are a mature, intelligent, knowledgeable person who is skilled in his craft. They want to know if you are the kind of person who will fit intothe corporate culture. This is true for every interview you will ever have, aviation or otherwise.
The key is to be yourself. Don't try to be what you think they want you to be. If you try to be what you think they want, and you guess wrong, you will not get an offer. If you guess right, now you are either stuck pretending to be something, or the real you (that does not fit into the corporate culture)will come out eventually. Either one does not bode well for your long term future with the company, if you want to move up within the company. |
