Now, I'm not saying slap your kid everyday to make him mean so he hates everyone and is the ultimate playground fighting machine.

Just teach him or her not to value friends over self and to assert individuality, be able to think for ones self and when to say no, and when to fight back.

I see what you're saying... he’s a big 4 yr old, and I have no doubt when pushed he would bam bam someone. But I have always been taught to do that as a last resort, and try diplomacy fist.
