As, honestly, I don't agree with THAT type of practice. If you, are quoted a price, for say the 35 hour ground, and 35 hour flight part 141 instrument program at 7999, and you are not within standards at the last stage check before you go off for your checkride. . . why should the school foot the bill for YOU, the student and customer, to get within standards?
But like I said, I'm done, and I'll allow Spencer to answer as to what Falcon's official policy is in regards to this type of situation.
I know from first hand experience though, that Falcon, and everyone there, stands shoulder to shoulder. |
Good response and I feel your point of view, but as we all know many school promise one thing and deliver the other. Also, if you check with the FAA only a small percentage of individuals fly throught at minimums and of those most have prior flying experince.
Im not saying the school must foot the bill, but if the school advertises a FIXED price program that it is obligated to finish the student. Ofcourse alot rides on the students, BUT alot rides on the school to provide quality instruction and stick to the contract that was agreed to. Im just saying take a hard look at FAA statistics on what people with 0 (PPL65hrs) time are obtaining the PPL and then rating beyond that before making judgement.
