Default Re: A few years ago...

Yeup, DCA, DFW, LGA, and SAT.

I remember the first time we flew over the Pentagon into DCA, and could not believe it was legal. I also remember looking at people having lunch in the center courtyard of the Pentagon. That image brought me back to the reality that is really is "just" an office building. My first thought of DFW: someone in TX legislature must have had a brother / cousin / uncle in the concrete business who needed a break.

As for the FL410 pic, that was on a revenue flight. We had 12 pax and about 8500#s of fuel when we left DFW, so we weren't exactly heavy. The SAT was cool, and we just sloooooooow climbed it up there, always minding our speed. The CA on that flight was great about teaching me how to be careful going that high. I'll never forget how quiet it was, and how the engines were only slurping about 900pph of fuel at cruise.
