 Living in NYC
So for the summer I'm thinking about getting a room in NYC as I'll be based in JFK. Rather then paying rent and commuting and ALSO paying rent for a crashpad, I think I'd rather just live there, at least while I'm on reserve. So i'd rather have my own room. So anyone on here live in the city or nearby? I want to know what areas are ok to be walking on the street at night. I was looking at Craigslist to see what was out there. Manhatten...hahahaha. But I did find descent places for prices a first officer can afford outside of the city. But one requirement is it needs to be in a pedestrian friendly place. So I can walk to the Subway or trains, go to the grocery store, etc. I don't mind a longer train ride either. So places like Jersey are ok too. So any ideas?? |
