Mike, you're saying that you're not feeling too comfortable due to your lack of currency. 10 hours in 172/PA44 with an instructor will cure that... Don's suggestion is probably the most economical route with your current TT. The ACPP will certainly give you more experience and vastly enhance your comfort level... but you will pay significantly more for it.
