Eh, I'm going to have to say that the extra 4 months of anticipation makes it a funner surprise in the delivery room. JMO

It was the excitement of NO ONE knowing before my husband did. For me, when you know WHAT'S coming out, it was a little more boring than wondering the whole time and not knowing till you could see for yourself. Plus there's always that chance the u/s was wrong. (My sister was told boy, and got a girl.) And there is also the chance that the baby won't cooperate at all and when you are dying to find out at the u/s and then don't, that can be a huge disappointment. So I stick to my opinion that it's cooler to wait!
