Oh Maxie your so gullabul! Delta owns 42 of our current a/c. the remaining 700's and some CRJ-100/200s. SkyWest wants the rest, they can buy em from Comair Holdings for market price and then some!
I think once the T/A is ratified SkyWest will have higher operational costs than Comair. The tide could turn and SkyWest might loose some planes. Delta has been holding off on awarding the remainder of the RFP till the Comair restructuring is complete, which I hope will be March 4th.
