I can't begin to describe what this site has meant to me. I had zero hours and was looking for a place to do my training when I joined in November 2001.

This site, the folks on here, not only saw me go through my training, instructing, interviewing and finally landing my job as a First Officer with American Eagle, they also played a valuable part in keeping me on track.

There were many, MANY times I didn't think I could do this, and folks like:

...talked me down out of MANY a tree, off MANY a cliff, and redirected me more times than they are aware.

That said - I've never once been able to make it to Vegas - even when a LOT of help was offered.

Not because I didn't want to go, but because I had other commitments that I just could not leave.

One day I will make it.

But for now, the best thing I can do is to offer my assistance and direction to those who are where I was back in 2001-now. That's how I intend to pay Doug and Kristie back for their efforts.

I hope that will do for now.
