Regarding lightspeed customer service, its the same story as the above Bose stories. I was evacuating a cessna 140 as fast as possible (for reasons that shall go unsaid:-) and grabbed the battery box and pulled at a 90* angle, ripped both mic and phone cords apart, I told them it was my fault and they said it didnt matter, send it in, they fixed everything for free.
I recommend to all my students the refurbished 20XL's for $300 straight from lightspeedaviation.com For $300 there is no other headset that comes close, they cancel noise better than all the new generation 20G! Four of my students have done this so far, and they are all happy.
