Re: True first year FO Take Home
I've only been flying at an airline for about 5 months and this is how it's been averaging out. We get paid twice a month. The first payment is one half of my guarantee is which is 37.5 X 23= $862. Then they throw in some other money owed, GUAR PROT and RIG PAY which is an additional $170 a pay period. After taxes and uniform deductions it's about $750 a month on the average. Then the second payment is what I mentioned above, per diem, and any hours that I go over my guarantee. So far it has been averaging about $1600 per second paycheck. This is not the norm. My airline is in need of pilots so they use the reserves to the fullest. The past 3 months I have been averaging about 95 hours per month. Hopes this helps.
