UPDATE *****
called the ex-boss today. he said they have overnighted a check for what sound to be the correct amount owed. Hooray! But of course ever optimistic dad wants to see it (as do I I need the $$
)
Now the problem is finding out where they sent it - my old address 1800 miles away or local. No problem either way dad can pick up my out of state mail and I can hang around here until it comes in.
I guess it still comes down to a waiting game.
