Re: laughable \"be a pilot\" ad I was never told that I would be guaranteed any interviews if I attended FSA. THe only interview I cared about when I completed the program was for a CFI slot and then I could build my time and when I had 1200-1300 hours with 400-50 multi then I might have a pretty good chance on getting interviewed by an airline. When I was a student there, airlines would show up unaanounced and interview high time CFI for positions with a regional airline but FSA never made that promise to anyone and to this day has never advertised this fact. I think what you are confused about is the ASA program at FSA. This program was offered to FSA grads and they had to interview with ASA BEFORE starting the program and they received a conditional offer of employment from ASA if the interview went well. Upon completion of the program and sim eval, the were then offered a class date with ASA. THis program was run per ASA need ONLY and was not a route many students took. |
