thanks for the support and info. i have been looking into the process of filing for unpaid wages but by the sound of it i ought to take what i can get. while not right, at least it can get me back to my g/f

i'm holding off on the company name until i hvae settled this, but there is no reason to withhold the employers name to prevent this from happening to others.
