I had plenty of braid to put a 4th stripe on, but it looked overpowering on his little arm. The 4th stripe was almost at his elbow! (The braid I used is AA F/A braid
Left over from Mommy's uniform switch-over in 2001.) Plus, if I wanted to use Daddy's epaulettes (I used his old Eagle epaulettes, they looked authentic because they're still dirty from the shoulder harnesses), he had to be a 3-striper. As his screen-name implies, he's been an "fo4ever". Haha. Haven't got that 4th stripe yet, probably be another 2-3 years.

I dig 'em too. I have to swiffer them every other day, especially in the kitchen, but I like how they look.
