So it turns out being from another country does have it's advantages.
Started my internship at Motorola today. Didn't do much but get familiar with the features of some new phones they have on beta. The lady said they were hiring me because I spoke Portuguese, which I didn't understand where that would apply until today. It turns out that I'll be testing all the new phone softwares in Portuguese. I got internet access as well so I gotta be careful not to slip into JC or facebook during the workday.
What's valuable about this internship is that I always wanted to see what an engineer does, as I'm an engineering major and I don't have much of a clue on what their day-to-day work is like. So far, I can see that the cubicle setting is not for me.
