Consider the next job you get to be the last job you will ever have, and then figure out if you could be happy and prosperous with that company. Research the company. Focus on financials, history of the company, management/labor relations, job security, and promotion opportunities. Note: I said "promotion opportunities" not "upgrade opportunities." There is a difference.

I think people make a big mistake in chasing upgrades. Yes turbine PIC is important if you want to move on. Eventually you will get that. Might take year, it might take 5, but eventually you will have it. Once you have it, then that box is checked off. It's not like you need to keep getting it. Upgrade time is a poor criteria for picking a job you may hold for 5, 10, or 15 years.
