I find shooting the ILS a whole lot easier with the HSI. We have a 182 with an HSI and Im thinking about taking my Instr. checkride in that instead of the HSI-less 172. Would asking for the 182 w/ HSI seem like "cheating" or should I suck it up and stick to the 172 for the checkride?
