If they all wanted dual given to consist of 90% of your TT, that'd be a problem. Fortunately it just so happens alot of pilots build their time that way and that's it. That's one of the few jobs you can have that involves you not always actually flying and have little other experience and still get hired. I figure, the airlines would rather see other quality flight time if it was available, like 300 actual instrument and 300 night for example.
Btw, I have 1400 TT and only 200 dual given. It hasn't been a problem for me yet. Well, let's just say it hasn't come up in any interviews.
