I still love it. It is very hard at times, especially lately since it seems like all I'm doing is working and studying. But, all in all, I figure if I'm going to work then I'm going to follow through with this career. It is rewarding to me, and I'm lucky to have someone who understands it and is accepting of the challenges (for now at least!).

I just don't see myself ever being happy in the commuting 9-5 life that everyone in my town seems to live. There are a few other careers that interest me, but none as much as the one I'm in now.

So mark me down as one pilot who is happy with his chosen career. It is testing at times, I will admit! Nights like tonight for instance. I'm in Quebec, Canada, about to start watching a hockey game on TV in my room... alone... dang it, I can't sit on my couch and have a few Molsons cheering on the team because of the 4:45am van time in the morning. Small sacrifices, I guess.
